MK数学竞赛强化班介绍
袋鼠数学竞赛是一项国际性的数学思维挑战赛，起源于法国，在美国也有近三十年历史。现已成为全球规模最大的青少年数学竞赛之一。该比赛旨在激发学生对数学的兴趣，培养逻辑思维与创造力。它强调数学的趣味性和应用性，而非死记硬背或高深理论。袋鼠数学每年在全球超过90个国家同步举行，面向1年级至12年级的学生，比赛内容贴近生活、富有趣味，重点考察学生的逻辑推理、图形想象、解题策略等综合能力。 我们肯印中文学校作为路易维尔地区唯一的线下考点，已经有多次成功举办比赛和颁奖的经验。我们在每年的一月初至三月中旬会有竞赛强化班，并且每年都有多位获得全州前三、全国前二十的学生代表。
The Math Kangaroo Competition is an international mathematical thinking contest that originated in France and has a nearly 30-year history in the United States. It has become one of the largest math competitions for young students worldwide. The competition aims to inspire students’ interest in mathematics while fostering their logical thinking and creativity. It emphasizes the fun and practical side of math, rather than rote memorization or advanced theories. Held annually in over 90 countries, Math Kangaroo is open to students from Grade 1 to Grade 12. The problems are engaging and relatable, often rooted in real-life scenarios, and are designed to assess students’ skills in logical reasoning, spatial imagination, and strategic problem-solving. As the only in-person testing center in the Louisville area, Kentuckiana Chinese School has successfully hosted the Math Kangaroo competition and award ceremonies for several years. We also offer intensive preparation classes each year from early January through mid-March. Many of our students have achieved top-three rankings in State and have placed in the top 20 Nationwide.
