家长守则
语言学习与文化认知在本校课程设计中为相辅相成的重要部分。家长积极参与孩子的课程学习，协助各项活动举办，均是帮助孩子快乐学习中文的必要因素。我们需要家长的热心付出与支持，由此提供给全校师生一个优良的学习环境。
1. 请在学校停车场停车后，进入教室准时接送您的孩子。
2. 请家长与老师充分合作，协助学生完成老师指定的作业与批注，若需签名者，请家长签名之后，交由学生带回学校。
3. 不迟到不早退，如学生因故不能上课，请事先向老师请假，并向老师询问该周家庭作业。
4. 积极参与学校一年一度社区文化活动，如Worldfest 世界文化节，中秋节，农历新年晚会，端午节暨结业仪式。
5. 随时关注老师在家长微信群或短信群发送的通知，与老师保持沟通和交流。
家长值班制
肯印中文学校是一个家长互助的非营利团体，学校所有运作及活动都是建立在强大的家长义工体系之上，家长也是孩子最好的榜样。我们非常感谢您的大力帮助和支持，让学校变得更安全有序，让孩子们在中文学校快乐学习，健康成长。如当周您负责值班，请您和孩子准时到达中文学校，负责以下事项：
1. 开始上课10～15分钟以后锁好门；下课前10～15分钟提前开门。锁门期间，家长和学生需按门铃进入教室，值班家长可通过摄像头确认家长身份以后开门。
2.下课休息时，监督孩子们在大教室安全友好玩耍，不要在走廊里互相追逐打闹。
3.下课休息时，提醒孩子们吃完零食后把垃圾扔进垃圾桶，玩具，书籍等物归原处。
4. 下课休息时，提醒孩子们需要排队使用卫生间；提醒检查孩子不要反锁卫生间门，不要蹲立或站立在马桶上玩。用完厕所后需冲水，洗手，并关好水龙头。
学生守则
本校为维护学校纪律及秩序，创造维护更好的学习环境，特订立以下规则。请所有学生在学校上课期间务必遵守。
1. 准时上课，不迟到不早退，提前准备好学习用品和水杯。
2. 上课认真听讲，遵守课堂纪律，尊敬老师和同学，听从老师和助教的安排。
3. 爱护公共财产，不乱涂乱画，垃圾丢进垃圾桶，下课后将桌椅板凳放好。
4. 下课休息时借阅图书或玩玩具，上课后须物归原处。
5. 下课休息时排队使用卫生间，学校共有两处卫生间供学生使用。提醒孩子切勿蹲立或站立在马桶上，使用完马桶记得冲水，洗手，并将水龙头拧紧。
6. 上课期间不可吃零食或口香糖，禁止使用手机，玩电子游戏。
7. 玩耍时注意安全，勿在学校教室或走廊过道追逐奔跑。
8. 不要随意触碰火警警报器。
Parent & Student Guidelines
Code of Conduct for Parents
Language learning and cultural awareness are important and complementary parts of the school's curriculum design. Parents' active participation in their children's curriculum learning and assistance in organizing various activities are necessary factors better help their children to learn and understand Chinese culture and language. Kentuckiana Chinese school is a non-profit organization, all operations and activities are based on a strong parent volunteer system. We need the enthusiastic dedication and support from parents to provide an excellent learning environment for all teachers and students at KCS!
1. Please park your car and enter the classroom to drop off and pick up your child on time.
2. Parents are asked to fully cooperate with teachers to assist students in completing the assignments and comments specified by the teacher. If a signature is required, parents are asked to sign.
3. Arrive and leave the class punctually. If a student cannot attend class for any reason, please ask the teacher for leave in advance and ask the teacher about the homework for that week.
4. Actively participate in the school's annual community cultural activities, such as Worldfest, Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year Gala, Dragon Boat Festival and Graduation Ceremony.
5. Always pay attention to the notifications sent by the teacher in the parent WeChat group or text message group, maintain communication with the teacher.
Parent Duty System
Kentuckiana Chinese School is a non-profit organization for parents and students. All operations and activities of the school are based on a strong parent volunteer system. Parents are also the best role models for their children. We are very grateful for your great help and support to make the school safer, so that the children can learn and grow happily, healthily at KCS. If you are on duty that week, please arrive at Chinese school on time and be responsible for the following matters:
1. Lock the door 10 to 15 minutes after class begins, unlock the door 10 to 15 minutes before class is over. During the lock period, parents and students need to press the doorbell to enter the classroom. Parents on duty can confirm their identity through the camera and then unlock the door.
2. During the break, supervise the children to play safely and friendly in the large classroom, and not to chase each other in the corridor or lobby.
3. During the break, remind children to throw garbage into trash can after eating snacks, and return toys, books and other items to their original places.
4. During the break, remind children that they need to line up to use the bathroom; remind and check that children do not lock the bathroom door, and do not squat or stand on the toilet. After using the toilet, flush, wash hands, and turn off the faucet.
Code of Conduct for Students
In order to maintain school disciplines and create positive learning environment, our school has established the following rules. All students are requested to comply with these rules and expectations during school hours.
1. Attend Chinese school on time, and prepare school supplies and water bottle in advance.
2. Listen carefully and follow directions in class, respect teachers and each other.
3. Take good care of public property, do not draw or paint on the walls, throw garbage into the trash can, put back chairs and tables after class.
4. If you borrow books or play with toys during the break, you must return them to their original places.
5. Line up to use the bathroom during break time. There are two bathrooms in the school, one in the front lobby, the other in the back lobby. Remind children not to squat or stand on the toilet. After using the toilet, remember to flush, wash hands, and tighten the faucet.
6. No snacks or chewing gum are allowed during class, and no cell phones or video games are allowed.
7. Pay attention to safety rules when playing, do not chase and run in school classrooms or corridors.
8. Do not touch the fire alarm.
